HALCON

Halcon was having trouble coming up with a logo that would perfectly capture the spirit of his new Taqueria, "Halcon". He wanted something that was bold, memorable, and truly reflected the unique flavors and atmosphere of his restaurant.
One day, Halcon received a visit from his godfather (you know, Gerard Hekkelar), a wise old man who had travelled the world and had a wealth of knowledge. His godfather was a great Horeca advisor, who had a great experience in creating logos for different companies. He had a great idea of what would look good in Halcon's logo.
"Halcon, my boy," said his godfather, "you need to think outside the box when it comes to creating a logo. You need something that will stand out and be truly unique."
Halcon was intrigued by his godfather's advice and asked him to elaborate. "Well," said his godfather, "I have a friend who is a famous author and he has helped many companies with their logos."
Halcon's eyes lit up. "You mean Paul Rand? The world famous graphic designer? The man behind the world famous IBM, UPS and the ABC logos?"
"Yes, that's the one," said his godfather. "He's an expert at creating logos that are simple, yet powerful. He's also got a great sense of humor and a knack for creating memorable slogans."
Without hesitation, Halcon called Paul Rand and asked him for his help in creating a logo for his new Taqueria. To his surprise, Paul told him that he was already in Rotterdam, for vacation and was visiting the famous Rotterdam Zoo (Blijdorp).
He asked for the name of the Taqueria. When he found out that the name was Halcon, he laughed so loud that he got everyone’s attention in the zoo. He told Halcon that he’s literally in the birds section and was looking at some hawks, he will pass by the Taqueria later that day he told Halcon and hang off.
Being a world-renowned designer, Paul couldn’t resist the temptation to try and come up with a logo for the new Taqueria. He sat down on a bench and pulled out his sketchbook ready to start brainstorming. He noticed a hawk soaring overhead, its sharp eyes scanning the ground for prey. Suddenly, an idea struck him: "What if the hawk could throw a taco like a football player?", he thought to himself.

 

Excited by this new concept, Paul rushed back to his hotel to start sketching. He drew several iterations of the hawk, experimenting with different positions and angles, until he finally settled on a design that captured the essence of his vision.

 

In the final design, the hawk was shown standing with the wings wide open, a taco clutched tightly in its talons as it prepared to make the perfect throw. The colors were bold and bright, with the name "Halcon Taqueria" written in a fun, playful font."
When he presented the design to Halcon, they were initially taken aback. "A hawk throwing a taco? Are you serious?" they asked.

 

But Paul was persuasive, and he explained that the design was meant to capture the fun, playful spirit of the Taqueria. "Think of it as a playful twist on a classic logo," he said.

Eventually, the Halcon Taqueria logo was born. With its bold colors and playful design, it quickly became a hit with customers, who loved the fun and whimsical take on traditional Mexican cuisine.
And who knows? Maybe one day, a hawk will really throw a taco like a football player. But until then, we'll just have to settle for the Halcon Taqueria logo."
 

But wait a minute, the logo is not a Hawk!!! It is just our name????!
